Contest Rules, Requirements and Guidelines

  • Must be 18 yrs old or over
  • Must be able to attend The So-Cal Hoedown on Aug 5th, 2017
  • Must represent the event in a positive and respectful manner.
  • The So-Cal Hoedown reserves the right to disqualify any participants or refuse at anytime.
  • Should a contestant be dismissed from the pageant for any reason, your entry fee will NOT be refunded.

Round One Contestants

  • All contestants will enter round 1
  • Your photo and bio will be published on the So-Cal Hoedown page for voting
  • All contestants will receive a personalized flyer for promotion
  • Online voting will take place June 30th – July 30th

Round Two Contestants

  • Top 12 contestants will move on to round 2.
  • Contestants will then be required to pay the $45.00 entrance fee ($30.00 ticket included), in order to participate.
  • The top 12 contestants will required to be at the event.
  • The top 12 will then take the stage on Aug 5th at The So-Cal Hoedown Festival.
  • Contestants will be judged by a panel of judges and crowd response. A 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place winners will be announced and prices will be awarded.
  • All 12 contestants will receive a swag bag, courtesy of our sponsors!
